​​​Rooted in more than 40 years of Bay Area maritime music tradition, Shipwrecked Shanty brings authentic sailor songs, salty characters, and a healthy dose of good humor to audiences of all kinds. Our specialty? Turning a room full of strangers into a singing crew.
 

Through our signature 'Shantyoke' experience, we invite audiences to join the chorus, bringing centuries-old work songs to life with a distinctly modern twist. No singing experience required. Just a willingness to come aboard.
 

From corporate celebrations at Saildrone to sold-out themed evenings at the historic Pelican Inn, San Francisco's Festival of the Sea, and an intimate fundraiser featuring world-class musicians from the opera and conservatory community, we've discovered that sea shanties have a remarkable way of bringing people together.
 

Whether we're setting the atmosphere for an immersive event or shanghaiing an entire room into a rousing chorus, our mission remains the same:
