After a string of sold-out performances and audience 'Shantyoke's', we’re sailing back to Sláinte Irish Pub (131 Broadway, Oakland) to launch St. Patrick’s weekend festivities in proper style. We’ll be belting out sea shanties—with a few Irish favorites in the mix—because if the Irish know one thing, it’s sailing. We’re thrilled to welcome guest Gary Keep of Dogwatch Nautical Band on guitar to help drive the rhythm and salt up the sound. It’s going to be a lively one.
We're the ORIGINAL SHANTYOKE! We coined the phrase, now we’ll need your voices to help put the wind in our sails—whether you sing out or simply sway with the tide.
